You must have heard about Affiliate Marketing but, Two Tier Affiliate Marketing may be a new term for you. Basically, people who have a marketing experience must know this term. For them two tier affiliate marketing means income stream. In a two tier Affiliate System, the Affiliates who are registered with an affiliate program can make more affiliates under them. They do this to earn more commission. This means whenever the second tire affiliate gets the commission, the first tire affiliate also receives some profit.

You can keep as many tiers as you want. But, you have to remember one thing; the more affiliates you make less will be the profit on each commission. So, keep limited number of tiers. Also, the affiliates under you can make efforts in other things to make profits.

The other name for two tier affiliate marketing is multi level marketing. You can make more than two tiers. If you are the one who sign up for an affiliate program, you will be named as first tier. The person who the first tier person recruits is called the second tier and so on. But, nowadays, people are not taking interest in multilevel marketing. This is because there is large number of affiliate programs to join. Even the joining is totally free and they can easily switch from one program to another.

If, you are planning to make money only with the help of second tire, then you have to keep some things in mind as it is not easy to make money through second tire. Check the member is choosing the merchant wisely. Keep a check on all the things that the member under you is doing. Choose merchants which keep high quality products and give good commissions. Also the member should have a good website.

Keep a check on the website of the two tier member. Check the statistics regularly and monitor all the sales. You can also use marketing tools to promote your products.

It is recommended that you choose a powerful affiliate program. If, you join a week affiliate program, then there can be a possibility that no member joins under you as he will think that the product that you are trying to sell will not be good also. With a good affiliate program, making tires is really easy.

So, before starting an affiliate program, keep in mind to decide everything like the membership should be single tier or multiple tiers, what products to be added, etc.
