What are some of the nicest/safest towns to live in near Ledyard, CT?

Ledyard is near Norwich. I have a job in Ledyard and I want to live close to the job in a nice town. I know Ledyard is a nice town but I haven’t found any good studio or 1 bedroom places there.

Well how far away do you mind living? Mystic (about a 20 min drive) is a wonderful town on the sound, that is both beautiful and semi-close. Also, Mystic has great place to eat and a few things to do (such as the port, and the aquarium). The only downside is that it can be pricey.

Hunt began his career at his hometown club Portsmouth, where he only made five appearances. After a spell at Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic he moved on to Norwich City. At Norwich, he scored 67 goals in 124 league matches, and his 31 goals in the 1955-56 season is still a club record. Following a short spell with Derby County he joined Grimsby Town, where he scored 39 goals in 53 games. After being transferred to Swindon Town he joined Port Vale in December 1961 for a £3,500 fee. Despite bagging 6 goals in 14 games he lost his place in March 1962 and was sold on to Newport County for £2,000 in July 1962. Playing close to 100 games for Newport, in 1964 he signed with Chesterfield.
