Both of those are pretty much scams (you’ll earn more per hour begging in the street, and with a lot less effort). There are VERY few legitimate work-at-home jobs, unless you’ve been working for the company in their office for a year or so. But it takes hours of actual work every week, not exactly “pay us to maintain a website and money will start rolling in”, or “buy our book and you’ll start making money” – which is what most of what you see on the web is.

If it’s not an actual job, chances are you won’t make money with it – and you’ll probably lose a lot.
